TKD Standard SPXO oscillators provide dependable, cost-effective timing for everyday electronics. Offered in 2016/2520/3225/5032 packages with CMOS output and frequency stability down to ±50 ppm, they cover 1–160 MHz with low jitter and RoHS-compliant construction.
Our 2016, 2520, 3225 and 5032 series deliver ultra-compact, low-profile timing in thin ceramic packages, ideal for space-constrained IoT, consumer and industrial designs. Each series covers a wide frequency range with CMOS output, tight frequency stability and RoHS-compliant construction for seamless integration.
Standard SPXOs are available in 2016, 2520 and 3225 ceramic packages with heights as low as 0.75 mm, making them suitable for slim handheld devices, wearables and densely populated PCBs while maintaining excellent solderability and thermal performance.
CMOS is the standard interface, supporting drive loads from 15 pF to 30 pF. This rail-to-rail signal connects directly to MCUs, FPGAs and SoCs without additional level shifting.
Standard SPXOs span 1 MHz to 125 MHz, letting one series cover MCU clocks, USB, Ethernet and other common bus frequencies with a single qualified part.
Place a 0.1 µF ceramic capacitor as close as possible to the VCC pin and a 4.7 µF bulk capacitor nearby to keep the oscillator supply clean and prevent noise-induced jitter.
Keep the oscillator close to the receiving IC, route the output trace with controlled impedance, and provide a solid ground plane beneath the device to minimize parasitic coupling.
Standard SPXOs are compatible with lead-free reflow soldering; follow the recommended profile and avoid bending the device during handling to preserve frequency performance.
