The Seminar on Collaborative Innovation and Industrial Development of MEMS Device Industry Chain Was Successfully Held in Wuhan, Hubei Province
On August 29, 2025, the Seminar on Collaborative Innovation and Industrial Development of MEMS Device Industry Chain was successfully held at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. This meeting implements the decision-making and deployment of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, with the theme of "Collaborative Innovation Industry Incubation", combined with the requirements of the province's "Cadre Quality Improvement Year", guided by the Hubei Provincial Department of Science and Technology, jointly organized by the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Taijing Technology Co., Ltd., gathering more than 30 well-known experts and scholars, industry leading enterprise executives, and representatives of relevant departments in Hubei Province and City, focusing on key issues such as the high-end technology of MEMS devices and the localization of the industrial chain, and jointly exploring new models and paths for the deep integration of industry, academia, research and application.

Professor Wu Guoqiang of Wuhan University, Professor Ma Bo of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Professor Liu Yan of Wuhan Textile University, Professor Chen Wen of Hubei University, Researcher Yang Jinling of Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhang Yuanqin, Director of High tech Department of Science and Technology Department of Hubei Province, Huang Wei, Deputy Director of Suizhou Science and Technology Bureau, Yu Xindong, Chairman of Taijing Technology Co., Ltd., Ma Mei, Secretary of Hubei Optoelectronics Association, etc. attended the meeting.

In his speech, Zhang Yuanqin introduced the development of the MEMS industry in Hubei Province and pointed out that the purpose of this conference is to provide a platform for industry colleagues to exchange and learn, connect needs, and explore collaborative innovation and development paths between industry, academia, research, and the upstream and downstream of the industry chain. Experts and units such as Wu Guoqiang, Ma Bo, and Taijing Technology Co., Ltd. gave presentations on topics such as high-performance MEMS resonators and oscillators, MEMS crystal oscillators and their development, research and progress on silicon-based AIN acoustic resonators and sensors, performance comparison between quartz crystal oscillators and silicon-based MEMS resonators under rapid temperature changes, quartz acoustic wave sensors, research and application of high-precision TCB bonding equipment, and the application and future expansion of ultra-high frequency quartz MEMS crystal oscillators in optical modules.

The attendees conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as breakthroughs in cutting-edge technologies, on-site transformation of scientific and technological achievements, construction of industrial ecology, precise integration of innovation resources from universities and research institutes with local industrial development needs, and accelerating the organic integration of innovation chains, industrial chains, and talent chains.

The successful holding of this seminar is a powerful measure for Hubei Province to promote the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation in the MEMS field. It will build a development path of "demand driven supply, enterprises taking the lead, application verification technology, and ecological aggregation elements", injecting new momentum into Hubei's efforts to build a leading MEMS technology innovation highland and industrial agglomeration zone in China.
